First introduced in 1957 and awarded first prize at the Cantu International Furniture Competition in 1961, the Mole Armchair by Sergio Rodrigues is the most celebrated piece in Brazilian furniture history. Its oversized tufted leather cushion hangs hammock-like from a solid jacaranda wood frame — a design that entered MoMA's permanent collection in 1974. Made to order in Brazil. Lead time 10–14 weeks.
